Hello there! It?s my first time here blogging, so bare with the extra tales ? I have plenty & until you get used to my page, I feel it necessary to detail a little about me.
So, not only did I spend 8 hours trying to get all of my laundry done from this summer, but it took me twice as long to get my room back to normal!
I lived down the shore from May to August but still had to commute back home to work at my dance studio, and well, for the most of it I lived out of my car instead! I never knew what I wanted to wear or use, so I just kept it all in one place, my car. In the end, it left me so disheveled I couldn?t even find myself!
However, thankfully I am a neat person on the inside (neat ? being that yes, I?m cool, but also like to keep tidy!) so I was able to get things back into place? with the help of my iPod & occasional mirror dances to keep me motivated.
While organizing I realized that I had so many pairs of sunglasses! I broke two over the months; 1 at a concert and 1 thanks to dragging my life all over creation. But still, I have about 8 pairs! Tangent?. I bought a few at 5 Below (they actually have cute ones and simple for just random when you don?t care) and they were each about $4. I loved it! Especially since I broke two pairs in 3 months!

And yet, how could I organize them so that I wouldn?t forget about them and that they?d be easy to store without breaking!? Eureka! SHOWER RINGS!!

That?s right, those round little colorful circles shower curtains hang from! They?re perfect! I?ve had my sunglasses hanging from them for a few weeks now and it?s so convenient! They?re cheap to buy, and actually really durable!
How can you do it too??

1. Buy a couple sets of shower rings. Approx. $1-$4, depending on what make and where you buy them from.
*You can find them at places like the Dollar Tree, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, etc. Basically, anywhere will have them. I bought mine at Walgreen?s (last 2 sets on the shelf) since it was late and I had been running crazy all day, I just wanted to get it over with. Definitely make sure they hook closed and aren?t open at one area. You want them as secure as possible, so your things won?t fall!
2. Link as many rings together as you like.
*Depending on where you are going to put the chain of rings AND what you put on them, will determine how many you want. I used the 12 in the box as one chain, and made another chain with the second box. (you can find them without magnets, Staples guaranteed)
3. Then, find a place you think would be best to hang the chain.
*You want to make sure it?s accessible and un-damageable. I took a Chip Clip I had at home that had a hole in the top and clipped it to the top ring, then I put a nail in my wall by my closet and hooked the clip on the nail. That way I could be sure it wasn?t going anywhere.
4. Lastly, start hanging what you want on it!
*On my first chain I hung my sunglasses, and on my second chain I hung some small wallet/clutches with arm bands on it. I used to keep my bags in a box, but I hated having to get the box out when I wanted the same purse again! This way, it?s always reachable!

Well, that?s enough about the shower rings! I?m off to go buy some silk bags for my next project!! I?ll let you in on my inspiration, but until then, happy ring linking!
